Last week our own Evan bought a brand new T-Mobile G1 for 99.00, I thought this may have been some special deal at the location he got it at but I call around and confirmed it’s truth, here is how to do it.  The offer is being given by Wal-Mart, so you can either go into the Wal-Mart store and get it or if you are a new costumer T-Mo said they can price match, I asked the rep if they would match it for a customer who needs to re-new their contract and they said their system has no way of doing it so I would have to do it at Wal-Mart.  This price of course only comes with a new two year contract.  Also confirmed by Evan, you can cancel the data plan on the phone and it still functions and you can sync everything through wi-fi, which if your in Utah T-Mo has no 3G and after using 3G edge is not worth even $10 a month.  What I want to know is, how does the battery life do if you leave the wi-fi on all the time?  This deal only goes until March 31st.
