I love phones and I do not exaggerate when I say that, if my wife would let me I would buy almost every new phone that came out, seriously, so when I heard that AT&T is getting an android handset I almost kissed my iMac! Check out the pic below for some specs and details on the phone. This news comes from the lovely fellows over at engadget.  Now of course things on the internet are always speculation and rumors until they actually happen, but this seams pretty likely since AT&T is not stupid like Verizon and turning down the android magic that I think will be sweeping the nation as more and more find out about its charming qualities.  This looks like a pretty tight little phone (and when I say tight little it does have a small looking screen) which I will have to pick up when it comes out, I do have some questions and concerns though.  There is a possibility this the android OS will be a custom version by HTC, they did this with the G1 that came our for Rogers (the biggest Canadian phone company) it looks like crap and is not as good as the google version.  Could this mean that AT&T is loosing the iPhone contract?  Is this even real?  I do have my doubts but I do think that there is a 98% chance this is verified information and the handset will be coming out on AT&T.  This means that AT&T will be getting a new iPhone in July, an Android in August and a host of many other amazing phones this year, I wont list all the others they are getting but I will say they are also getting a new blackberry, sooooooo sweet.  Why does AT&T get all the good phone? I guess when you are the biggest and best those privileges come, now if we could just get them to stop carrying Windows Mobile phones this world might be a perfect place.
