I know everyone is sick of iphone news,I am too but this is for all you who have an unlocked phone (you use it on a network other than AT&T) here are some words of caution.  There are some programs floating around that can jailbreak the 3.0 beta to put on your phone.  DO NOT USE THEM!  I repeat DO NOT USE THEM, it is not becaue they don’t work, I am sure they work fine, but the 3.0 OS cannot function with the current baseband of the phone.  The baseband is the part that lets you make calls and makes it function like a phone.  Since the 3.0 software cannot function with it, even if you jailbreak it you will not be able to use it as a phone, and you run the risk of locking your phone and never being able to unlock it.  So again do not update to 3.0 on an unlocked phone.  We will keep you up to date on the news of when it will be available for unlocked phones.
