Christmas is but a few days away, most of us are done with school, and hopefully many of us don't have to work much this next week, and of course we have been Christmas shopping and are all done, and have the presents wrapped and under the tree...no you say more shopping left? It plays blu-rays,(it is one of the more top quality blu-ray players on the market as well) you can stream avi wmv divx and other movie files from your computer to the your TV or you can just copy them to the 120 or 250 GB hard drive in it, along with that you can stream music or put it on your hard drive, you can also stream netflix movies through it, oh and you can play video games on it. ...

I recently went to a friends house to discover he had a new Palm Pre, needless to say I spent the entire night playing with it and nearing neglecting everyone else. I instantly fell in love with the phone, I can honestly say I wasn't even this blown away when I first met the iPhone. I really think no phone out there can compare to the Pre, yes the Pre and Android were dubbed iPhone killers but the Pre is in a class of its. Since this isn't a Pre review I wont go into the nitty gritty of the phone but I will say I would love to have a phone with a real keyboard, and be able to be running a program and not have to exit it then restart the whole thing just to check a text message someone sends me, and thats only one of the many things, the Pre can do everything the iPhone can do and more. This past weekend I was in San Francisco enjoying the beautiful bay area but unfortunately I was not enjoying much 3G speed.  I traveled by car from Salt Lake City Utah to San Francisco so I decided I would to some tests on how AT&T's network performed across the country.  I never really have any problems here in Utah, I travel around Utah a lot for work and have experienced the occasional dropped call, but overall pretty much anywhere I go I have service and more important I have good access to the 3G network. Once I got to the town of Tooele here in Utah, I lost my 3G and my iphone switched over to edge, I had edge network until I got to Wendover, NV then I completely lost my data network.  From Wendover, NV to Reno, NV my edge network was pretty spotty, I had it for about 20% of the 400 miles of travel, pretty bad I thought.  Once I got to Reno I had full 3G, and did not notice it cut out until San Francisco.  While traveling around San Fran for the weekend, I was using my maps a lot to find restaurants and ...

The RIM corporation, or makers of blackberry, announced that on April 1st they will officially release AppWorld, their version of Apples AppStore.  They come second to compete with Apple, Google being the first.  From what I understand AppWorld will be available to all blackberry phones not just the Storm.  I guess we will have to wait and see how they fair.  RIM still sells more phones than Apple but Apple does have the lead in the market for their app store and it will be hard to compete with, they will have to do a better job than Google has done so far.  Rumor has it that the average price of an app will be $2.99, along with many other free apps.

I am a cell phone fanatic for you who don't know, if my wife would let me I would probably buy a new phone every month and swap them around every week.  It has been about a month and a half since the new Blackberry 8900 from RIM came out for T-Mobile and I finally got a chance to play with one. For you curve users this is a must have, the OS has been updated to the new blackberry OS, it looks the same as the Storm and the Bold.  Browsing around the menu is really smooth and about twice as fast as the old curve.  This is a really slick phone and makes me miss having a blackberry.  This is one of the most responsive phones I have ever used, applications load quickly, texting and MMS are easy, and it is just super fast! I can't get enough of how fast it is, plus it looks great, the screen quality is very crisp and clear, it looks almost as good as the Bold, the 8900 has a slightly smaller screen than the Bold and that is what makes the bold screen a bit better.  There is no 3G on this phone ...
