The blog All About Microsoft has some screenshots of Microsoft Office 2010. These early screenshots are from a Technical Preview and are not necessarily what the final product will look like, but Office 2010 looks to be very similar to Office 2007. The new layout and display of 2007 had a steep learning curve for many users, but Microsoft has decided to stay the course and will be keeping 2010 much the same. Microsoft is putting the finishing touches on Word 2010, Excel 2010, Outlook 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010, Access 2010, InfoPath 2010 and Publisher 2010. Members of Microsofts Technet subscription service will be getting this release in a few weeks, but there are already x86 and x64 versions leaked onto different Torrent sites.  Torrents have been uploaded on  Mininova and  Pirate Bay tracking site for both  32- and 64-bit editions. Commenters on the sites confirmed that the posted versions are tagged Technical Preview, claimed that they worked but were very unstable. This morning it was announced that the four founders of the Pirate Bay website were all sentenced to one year in jail, and $905,000 each in fines for contributing to distribution of copyrighted material.  Peter Sunde one of the founders was not surprised by the verdict and stated the website will still be up and running. This is no joke, The upcoming Wolverine X-Men Origins movie was released yesterday as a torrent available to download.  Many thought it was an April fools joke but Fox reported it was true you can read their official statement here, http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2009/04/wolverine-leak.html Rumor has it Australian company Rising Sun Pictures was the one to release it.  Fox water marks all of its companies it send to companies that work on the movie so most likely they will find out who put it on the web.  The FBI and MPAA are already investigating the case, and if the MPAA is as good at investigating as they are at rating movies then this case will be cracked.  The copy is only a work print and has many special effects missing and edits uncut.  We here at Simplified Geek don't condone downloading torrents and do not encourage any one to download it, as it is illegal, we will be talking to a source who has seen it and will tell us about it so we will put up a post letting you know anything about it without spoiling it.  Boy he sure looks mad in that picture, and I wouldn't want to make him mad!
