Have you ever wanted to take a screen shot of something you are doing and couldn’t because you don’t know how? I always do, for various reasons like to e-mail people stuff that I am doing or just for fun because I have something cool on my computer. Well wait no longer because I figured out how to take a screen shot on your mac.  Hold down command(apple button) shift and 4 all at the same time, a small cross hair will now appear on your screen, select the area you would like to capture then let go of the mouse button and the picture will snap and save to your desktop, pretty easy. This will work for anything you would like to capture, so if you see something cool on the web you want to show someone, or want to snap the whole page. It may work in games but I have not tested it out yet, so go have fun with it.  For you PC users it is a little more work and I am not quite sure how well it works, but here is how you can do it. Press the PrtScn button, then open up paint and then hit cntrl and V at the same time, this will paste the image into paint, then select save as from the pull down menu and make sure to save it as a GIF, PNG, or JPG those are the best file formats.  The image can then be edited or cropped in your favorite program.
